- Former KHJ jock Tom Dooley has had surgery on his brain tumor and is going thru chemo now, according to his buddy Jack Parnell of Memphis.
- Former K-EARTH jock Brian Beirne is on the road in Arizona where he just completed producing three sold out shows with The Tokens. Think they sang The Lion Sleeps Tonight?
- KROQ’s Kevin & Bean had one of those uncomfortable segments hearing stories about people who had to go to the bathroom and couldn’t find a facility. Lisa May started out the stories: “I was 19 in Spain and we were in a dormitory and the bathroom was down the hall. It was pitch dark and I couldn’t get the door unlocked but there was a sink in the room. I have a roommate and I don’t want her to know so I find a plastic bag and a postcard. After putting it in the bag I dropped it out the window into a bush. It was one of the worst nights of my life and it wasn’t sexy.”
